Please help us spread the word!

On Sunday, November 8, from 9 am to 2 pm, RKLA is holding our Yard Sale & Festival at 2707 First Street in Boyle Heights, with games, treasures, and good food. Last year, about 100 people joined us. This year, our goal is 500. We would love to welcome as many neighbors and friends from across Los Angeles as we can.

Behind the fun is something simple. So many people are carrying loneliness, stress, and heaviness, and our community has something to offer them: a warm place where they are welcome and not alone. When we reach out together, we share the joy of the Dharma, and we grow together. I'd like to ask you:

Who in your network would enjoy our Yard Sale & Festival on November 8? Please invite them, and share this link: https://www.rklabuddhistcenter.com/post/rkla-yard-sale-carnival-2026?referral=business-feed

p.s. Some of you asked how to support this while being unable to join in-person. Your care is already a strong contribution! But if you want to go further, you can offer your donation here. (Write "Yard Sale" in the memo.) -- Cost is more than $1,000 this year. So any gift helps.

Sincerely,

Kyohei

Minister, Rissho Kosei-kai Buddhist Center of Los Angeles

Does Buddhism Welcome Your Question?

Kyohei Mikawa Yes. Just as people's questions propel the storyline of the Lotus Sutra, your questions are welcome. Well, let's be precise: not only welcome, they are an essential part of our learning
