Session 2 Buddhist Causation: Dependent Origination

Date: April 28, Tuesday, 7-8:10PM PT

You will learn how Buddhist causation shows that we can become a cause for positive changes for our life, for our world, through our human practice rather than expecting divinity to do the work for humans--Buddhist causation empowers humanity by having faith in everyone's inherent Buddha-nature.

Session 3 Three Treasures

Date: May 12, Tuesday, 7-8:10PM PT

In all Buddhist communities, the teaching of Three Treasures is shared among them all. These three are: Buddha, Dharma (Buddha's teaching or truths), and Sangha (community of good spiritual friends). Embracing this teaching builds a foundation for us to enrich our spiritual life and to help others to be empowered.

Session 4 Four Noble Truths

Date: May 26, Tuesday, 7-8:10PM PT

This teaching gives you a tool that clarifies confused thoughts and emotions.

Session 5 Eightfold Paths

Date: June 9, Tuesday, 7-8:10PM PT

Buddhism offers 8-fold way of self-care (inner-alignment).

Session 6 The Six Paramitas

Date: June 23, Tuesday, 7-8:10PM PT

This is another powerful teaching you can use as a spiritual guide for your everyday life. This six-fold practice begins with generosity. The gist of the practice is this: your concerns are taken care of as a result of your sincere offering and dedication to helping others to take care of their concerns. This is what happened to my concern about the immigration visa obstacles that surprising a lawyer.
